Sauteed Garlic Chicken & Mushrooms

So today I was wondering what to make for my Lunch. I found basic ingredients in my fridge and decided to give it a go. Well let me tell you, it was nothing short of a culinary delight!

Ingredients :
-1 Cup of short grain sushi rice
-1 1/4 Cup of water
-1 Tablespoon of garlic butter
-1 Cup of assorted mushrooms (sliced)
-1 Sliced chicken breast
-A pinch of salt and pepper

Alright, for the preparation, the first thing you want to do is bring the water with rice to a boil on medium high heat. When the water is boiling, lower to medium heat and let simmer until ready. In a wok, on medium heat, melt the garlic butter and add the mushrooms, salt, pepper and chicken to it. Sautee for 15-17 minutes until the mushrooms and chicken are cooked through.

Add the chicken and mushrooms on a bed of rice and you are done! Very easy recipe to make and very delicious to eat.

(Optional) Add some soy sauce to the rice for seasoning.

I hope you will enjoy this as much as I have.

  3. Thanks a lot :), I'm sure the chicken would work even better if it was grilled or bbq'd but i don't own either.
